Elliot used to be the worst student in the academy he studied in before. It was all due to his very low capacity to store Eden that makes him unable to use magic casually. Because of this, Elliot was often picked on by the other students. It was especially hard for him around his junior years when the heads of the academy nearly classified him as an anti-factor.

He then struggled to convince the academy that he is not an anti-factor. Of course, many of his attempts failed horribly--until he found an alternative that allows even someone like him to make use of their magic. Turns out that he was gifted with the ability to enchant machineries and metal-based materials such as bullets.

Elliot decided to become a teacher afterwards to be able to help those like him (who have low edens) by sharing his knowledge. As a teacher, he's (very) lenient and thinks that students can't learn if they don't have fun. He tries to like everyone and if someone doesn't like him (coughIAH), he would automatically think that it's because of his inability to use magic casually.}</strike>
